Hello! I’m Daphne Correa, and I’m an artist, a user experience designer, a UX manager, and a former front-end developer. My career began in May 2000, following my journey through design school. Little did I know that this would coincide with the looming burst of the dot-com bubble, a transformative period that shaped the career journeys of many in the field of technology.
I help user experience designers who are developing their careers and need help finding that first, or next gig in the field of user experience. As a manager, I understand what companies are looking for as they wade through mountains of resumes and portfolios, trying to find the right candidate to fit into their teams and make an impact. As a designer who was once in that position, I can share my tips and resources, find work, and learn how to create value and make a difference in the company environment.
